Monosof monofilament nylon sutures are inert, non-absorbable, sterile surgical sutures, which are available either dyed black, with Logwood extract, or undyed (clear). Monosof sutures are used in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in cardiovascular, ophthalmic, and neurological surgery.
